HIK Vision Vulkan 6mm 35mK Smart Thermal Monocular
The HIK Vision Vulkan 6mm delivers a high-quality thermal image and packs a host of features normally reserved for high-end thermal spotters. The Handheld Thermal Monocular is an infrared imager designed to improve visibility outside and in the dark. This version features a 160 x 120px IR resolution and is suitable for hiking, travelling and hunting applications. The high-sensitivity infrared detector provides clear footage even in total darkness; the Hikmicro LYNX LC06 Handheld Thermal Monocular also features a thermal sensitivity of less than 35mk (at 25°C) and a frame rate of 50Hz.
35mK NETD Rating = One of the most sensitive sensors available on the market, detecting even the smallest temperature differences!
Footage is viewable via the 720 x 540px, 0.2-inch LCOS display. The user can alter the colour palette: he/she can choose from Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot and Fusion. Using the Record Video and Capture Snapshoot functions, footage can be saved to the Hikmicro LYNX LC06 Handheld Thermal Monocular’s integrated 8GB memory.
In addition to capture/record functions and selectable colour palettes, the Hikmicro LYNX LC06 Handheld Thermal Monocular includes a digital zoom (1x, 2x, 4x) and the following functions/ modes:
- Highest Temperature Target Tracking: tracks a ‘hotspot’, for instance, an animal or person, making it easier for the user to monitor targets
- Distance Measurement
- Wi-Fi Hot Spot: use the Hik-Thermal App to view footage captured by the monocular in real-time on a secondary device; the user can also operate the monocular’s digital zoom and Record Video function via the app
- Sleep mode: temporarily switches off observation to prevent light leakage and to preserve the battery life
IP67 rating guarantees a robust chassis capable of repelling dust and rain, protecting you from the worst of the weather.
Battery life = 10hrs of continuous running!
This is all backed up by a 3 year UK warranty for main unit & 2 year warranty for battery.
